هذا المستند متاح باللغة الإنجليزية، والنص الإنجليزي هو النص المعتمد.

Please read these terms before using Orion. They set out what Orion provides, what we expect from restaurants and guests, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Valentyna Schaslyva, British Columbia, Canada, who runs Orion (“Orion”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you create an account, use the dashboard, or visit or review a restaurant on a guest page. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

If you use Orion for a restaurant or another business, you accept these terms for that business and confirm that you may do so; “you” then means both you and the business.

2. Accounts

  • You must be an adult (at least 18 and of the age of majority where you live) to create an account.
  • Give accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once at privacy@orionrestaurants.com if you think someone else has used it.
  • Owners decide who joins their restaurant’s team and with which role, and are responsible for what their team does there.

3. What Orion provides

Orion lets restaurants publish their details, menus and events on guest pages, share them with QR codes and links, translate them automatically, create menu photos with AI, collect guest reviews and, when connected, answer their Google reviews.

We keep improving Orion and may change, add or remove features. We will tell you in advance before removing a feature you rely on, where we reasonably can. Features shown as “coming soon” are plans, not promises. We work to keep Orion available, but it may at times be interrupted, for example for maintenance or by problems with the services it depends on.

4. Plans and payment

The Free plan is free within the limits shown on the Pricing page. Paid plans, their prices and their billing terms are shown before you choose one, and those terms become part of this agreement. We never charge you unless you choose a paid plan and give your payment details.

A trial (for example, with a restaurant prepared for you by Orion) ends on the date shown. It continues as a paid plan only if you chose that and gave your payment details. If we start charging for something that is free today, we will tell you at least 30 days before.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to what you add to Orion: texts, menus, photos, events and replies. You allow us, worldwide and free of charge, to store, copy, translate, adapt (for example, resize a photo, or create the AI version of it you ask for), display and deliver it, as needed to run Orion and to show your guest pages. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups.

You are responsible for your content, and you confirm that:

  • you have the right to publish it, including every photo;
  • your menus are accurate and lawful, including prices, ingredients, allergens and dietary labels, and meet the food and consumer rules that apply to you. Orion shows what you enter and does not check it;
  • you check the automatic translations, in particular of allergens and other information about health and safety. Machine translation can be wrong, and the text you wrote is the one that counts;
  • every AI photo you save represents your dish fairly, as you confirm when saving it, and you follow any rule that requires you to disclose AI images.

We may remove or hide content that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

6. Reviews

For guests

  • Review only a real visit or order, honestly.
  • Do not review your own restaurant, your employer or a competitor, and do not accept anything in return for a review.
  • Do not post anything hateful, threatening, obscene or illegal, anyone’s personal information, advertising or links.
  • Your review, and the name you give with it, are public. You allow Orion and the restaurant to show them, and the restaurant may reply publicly.

For restaurants

  • You decide whether your guest pages accept reviews, and you may reply to them publicly. You cannot edit or delete a guest’s published review; report a review that breaks these rules, and we decide what happens to it.
  • Do not write, buy or arrange reviews of your restaurant or a competitor’s, do not offer anything for a review, and do not invite only satisfied guests to post reviews.
  • Follow the laws on reviews and advertising that apply to you.

We may hold suspicious reviews for the restaurant to check, and we may hide or remove reviews that break these rules or the law.

7. Google and other services

Some features rely on other companies, whose own terms also apply: Sign in with Google, Google Maps (address search and maps) and Google Business Profile. By using the maps you agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

If you connect a Google Business Profile, you confirm that you may manage that listing. Replies you send through Orion are published on Google in your business’s name and must follow Google’s policies; Orion sends a reply only when you do. You can disconnect at any time. Orion is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and we are not responsible for other companies’ services.

8. Restaurants prepared by Orion

Our team may prepare a draft page for a restaurant from public information and invite the restaurant to claim it. Only someone who may act for the restaurant may claim it; once claimed, it is that restaurant’s content under these terms. Drafts that are not claimed are archived or deleted. To have a draft about your restaurant removed, email privacy@orionrestaurants.com.

9. What you must not do

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break it, through Orion.
  • Publish content that infringes others’ rights, or that is misleading, harmful or offensive.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or manage a restaurant you have no right to manage.
  • Try to get around limits (such as those of the Free plan or AI credits), access accounts or data that are not yours, or test, probe or attack Orion’s security.
  • Copy, scrape or download Orion or its data in bulk, overload it, or use bots to access it, except search engines indexing guest pages.
  • Copy, sell or resell Orion, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this despite these terms.
  • Send spam or malware through Orion.

10. Orion’s rights

Orion’s software, design, texts and brand belong to us or our licensors; these terms do not give you any right to them beyond using Orion. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Orion at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@orionrestaurants.com. We may suspend or close an account, or a restaurant’s pages, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to prevent harm to guests, other users or Orion. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you the chance to fix the problem.

When an account or restaurant is closed, its guest pages go offline. If you ask within 30 days, we will send you a copy of your restaurant content. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on content rights, liability and disputes, continue to apply.

12. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, Orion is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or fit for a particular purpose, or that translations and AI results will be accurate. We are not responsible for the content restaurants publish, for reviews written by guests, or for what guests decide based on them.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Orion is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims about Orion is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 Canadian dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or rights that consumers have under the law where they live.

14. Claims about your content

If you use Orion for a business and someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms or of the law, your business will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in its defence.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia decide any dispute about them, unless the law where you live as a consumer gives you the right to go to your local courts. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version here with its date and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may stop using Orion before then; continuing to use it means you accept the new terms.

17. General

These terms, with the Privacy Policy and the terms of any plan you choose, are the whole agreement between you and Orion. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. We may transfer this agreement to a buyer or successor of Orion; you may not transfer it without our consent. These terms are written in English; if we offer a translation, the English version prevails.
